Genix – Orca / Vega

British trance superstar Genix has once again proven that he is unstoppable with the release of his two latest tracks ‘Orca’ & ‘Vega’. ‘Orca’, in particular, received worldwide attention after it was dropped by Above & Beyond during their ABGT200 show in Amsterdam. On par with Genix’s usual releases, both ‘Orca’ & ‘Vega’ are euphoric and filled with emotion, the perfect recipe for a trance anthem.

‘Orca’ starts by hitting you straight in the chest with the heavy beat, characteristic of Genix’s usual releases. Fading into the build up, a heavenly wave of sounds which fade into the melody. This continues to build with all of the track’s elements coming together towards the height of the song which drops into a heavy and euphoric section, certain to have fans fist-pumping along to the beat.

‘Vega’ has a very different vibe, with a much heavier beginning that fades into the piano section, taking you on an emotional journey as it builds. With the beat coming back in, the track suddenly explodes into the climax, a stunning combination of all of the elements which capture the heart of the listener as it rises and falls.

Released on Anjunabeats, the iconic trance label owned by Above & Beyond, these two tracks have gone down well in the trance world, receiving a positive reception from fans.
