Both Armin van Buuren and KSHMR‘s greatest trait is their ability to merge their diverse range of influences into mixes and productions that appeal to a wide variety of audience demographics. Though their legacy lies primarily in their contributions to the dance music world, it’s well known that Armin van Buuren considers Trance as his roots, KSHMR, on the other hand, is know for the success of his earlier project The Cataracs, which is responsible for his breakthrough hit “Like A G6“.

A slice of history with a pinch of the future. This is the sound of Armin van Buuren and KSHMR joining Pasquale Rotella for the latest episode of Night Owl Radio 59 in an exclusive guestmix, with music from across the wide electronic spectrum. After kick-starting the year with curating a new roster including Dada Life, Bassnectar, Hardwell and Tiesto as guest mixers on his show, Night Owl established itself as a magnetic force within electronic dance music. Returning to the radio station this week, Armin van Buuren and KSHMR opted to take listeners on a journey through their current favourites.

Along with some classics such as KSHMR‘s “Jammu” or The Killer’s “Human”, Armin and Niles assemble a stunning 2-hour mix. Sticking with some of dance music’s current bangers, the show consists of tracks from the likes of Kölsch, Tigerlilly, JEBU, Cirez D and R3hab, to name a few. The mix opens up with Leandro da Silva’s “I Love House Music” and also features Armins collaborative effort with Dave Winnel “The Race”. Overall, this gem-packed mix has the perfect set of versatile tracks that will attract any listener. The two heavyweights prove once again, that they always manage to contain the right amount of punch in every single mix that would make anyone dance from start to finish.
