Home Uncategorized BREAKING: Axwell hints at the return of the new Swedish House Mafia at Ultra Miami 2017

In a tweet posted minutes ago, superstar Swedish DJ Axwell hinted at the return of the legendary Swedish House Mafia, the iconic trio who split in 2013, making their final appearance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. As expected, the tweet was quickly deleted, adding even more mystery.

Attached to the tweet, Axwell added an image which appears to show a new version of the Axwell /\ Ingrosso logo, with an extra line in the center hinting at the addition of a third member. Many are suggesting that Swedish House Mafia will reform and that Steve Angello will rejoin the duo, although others are speculating that the third addition may in fact be Alesso, who has a history of being closely linked to the duo. This speculation comes following Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s show at ADE on Saturday, during which Alesso joined the duo on stage to perform the iconic track ‘Calling‘.

Below the logo is a date which corresponds to the Sunday of Ultra Miami 2017, hinting that the duo may in fact become a trio on the same stage that Swedish House Mafia made their last performance. This indicates that there may be yet another massive performance in store for those who visit the festival next year.

Accompanying the image Axwell wrote:

“The countdown to the new era has begun. Never is too late to get back on track…”

This further adds to the suspense, setting off speculation within the whole of the dance music community, as the tweet clearly seems to suggest the addition of a third member. The tweet is certainly in true Swedish House Mafia style, creating speculation and mystery while making fans wait on the edge of their seats, anticipating what is to follow.
