Don Diablo – Cutting Shapes (Preview)

After another successful summer, Don Diablo has released a preview of his upcoming track ‘Cutting Shapes‘. Although Diablo’s signature style is certainly evident, this track showcases the development of his ever-evolving sound. Don Diablo is known for his ability to push boundaries with music, as a trend-setter rather than a follower.

Accompanied perfectly by vocals from Krono’s Remix of Dancin, Cutting Shapes is an energetic and uplifting anthem which is certain to have crowds singing along. As the title suggests, this track is ideal for dancing to, the perfect recipe for a highly successful dance hit. The preview video features people ‘cutting shapes’, a unique style of dancing which is common at dance music events, and has surged in popularity in the last couple of years.

The track starts with an uplifting piano chord progression accompanied by the vocals, building into the trumpet section which forms the melody. The melody then evolves into the hard-hitting drop which is certain to provoke a huge reaction from crowds.
