If you’re looking for the tune that has it all, Don Diablo‘s latest magnificent specimen is the jam for you. Arguably, 2016 has been the Dutch heavyweight’s most successful year yet. As part of the Hexagon movement, Don Pepijn Schipper has released his eight produciton in the last ten months, titled “Cutting Shapes”.
A follow-up to a slew of tracks including “Tonight“, “Drifter“, his “Good Grief” remix and his recent collaboration with Steve Aoki and Lush & Simon “What We Started“, “Cutting Shapes” further solidifies Don Diablo as one of the few true masters of the new wave of house music. The producer dropped the single on his own Hexagon imprint right before his UK Hexagon tour commencing end of October.
Don Diablo’s latest production is as full and crisp as ever, showing a wide command of sound design and mixing from the delicate piano stabs to the storming bass and flourishes of the drop. Delivering one of his most outstandings tracks so far, “Cutting Shapes” proves that, when it comes to Future House influenced music, Don Diablo is a force to be reckoned with at any time.
Cutting ahead of his handful of accomplished singles to date, “Cutting Shapes raises the bar for Don’s polished sound to take center stage come 2017, again.
