Swedish legend Eric Prydz has clearly been having a monumental campaign in 2016. Known for his numerous classics such as “Call On Me” and “Pjanoo”, Prydz is still going strong and has continued to cement his legacy as one of dance music’s biggest icons.

After the release of his game-changing album ‘Opus’ last February, the Los Angeles-based producer has been focusing heavily on his alter ego Cirez D. This project displays Prydz’ incredible techno side and fans have certainly grown to love what Cirez D offers to the plate.

Four months ago, Prydz provided us a taste of Cirez D’s new tracks, which were titled “Century of the Mouse” and “In The Reds”. These masterpieces have entered the festival scene and have successfully pleased the crowds of the likes of Ultra and Tomorrowland.

Following up these two killer tunes, Prydz recently unveiled a couple of more productions as Cirez D. The first track is titled “Backlash”, which features a more melodic techno touch to it. With its oscillating synths and earth-shattering beats, this banger will surely cause tremors at any stage across the globe.

The second record called “The Tournament” consists of an underground feel with its deep basslines and tribal sounds. As the track progresses, the surge of energy continues to build up and sends out the old-school nightclub vibes that many dance music enthusiasts have dearly missed.

“Backlash” and “The Tournament” are out now on Mouseville and you can purchase them on Beatport here.
