Home Uncategorized Eric Prydz dons his Cirez D monikor on two new techno tracks to be released this Monday

When the news breaks that there’s going to be new Eric Prydz music released, you know it’s good news. After teasing us for quite some time about a new release under his techno alias Cirez D, the progressive master has finally dropped full details of the release and thankfully it’s coming a lot sooner than we had hoped.

Releasing as always on his own Mouseville label, the two track record will feature two pounding techno bangers entitled “Backlash” and “The Tournament” which both featured in the recent Cirez D Essential Mix from Creamfields last month, and they have been floating around Prydz’s sets for quite a while as well. Of course we all know how infamous Prydz is for having a wealth of tracks which are never released so it’s good to see some new music dropping from him.

“Backlash” is a dark, dreamy track that blurs the lines between progressive and techno while “The Tournament” is a straight up dark-room destroyer of a production. As always Prydz delivers some of the best music on the scene. The EP is thankfully coming out on Monday and will be releasing digitally for now but it has been confirmed (on Eric’s Facebook) that there will also be a vinyl release on a beautiful green record.

You can listen to a preview of the two tracks below and we’ll also have a full review up whenever they’re released:
