FLO4D – Look Away Ft. Lydia Kelly

FLO4D may be a name some of you recognize, and rightly so. At only the age of 17, the German DJ/Producer has already caught the attention of one of the industry’s favorite acts.

Hailing from the dance music gold mine of Cologne, FLO4D already has an impressive artist CV. Winning the official remix competition for Galantis’ track “In My Head”, his remix has nearly 290,000 plays on SoundCloud. And given his following is just over 4000, that speaks volumes about the quality of his music.

Stands as the youngest act to be booked at the reputed World Club Dome earlier this year, he has gone onto to play renowned festivals in his homeland. Recently featured on Spotify’s reputed Fresh Electronic playlist with his latest original production, he has also remixed the likes of “Runaway (U&I)” and and Hardwell’s “Mad World”, raking in over 100,000 plays.

Now returning with what may be his best solo work to date, FLO4D is continuing the trend of quality output. Collaborating with soft and soulful voice of Lydia Kelly, “Look Away” fuses Future Bass with flickering elements of Dubstep and Trap into a flurry of synthy layers and distorted chords. Incorporating the classy and polished depth that has helped elevate his status so quickly, the young German delivers a very satisfying and complete dance music composition.
