Hailing from Central France Thomas May has already proved he has something special to offer the dance music scene. Still in his early twenties, his portfolio of originals and remixes reflect his pursuit to improve, as well as his raw talent.
Immersed in electronic dance music from a very young age, his father helped instill his passion for the ever-growing genre. Seeing it burst onto the mainstream, his inspirations are the likes of Deadmau5, Avicii and Audien. Drawing from Avicii’s personal signature style, Thomas May has instilled a distinctive sound throughout his portfolio’s works.
Focused on prompting an emotional reaction from his tracks atmosphere’s and vibes, the Frenchman is a rigorous perfectionist. Spending a multitude of late nights and early hours of the morning attempting to provide a high-quality production, with high-quality music taste, he has rapidly learnt the art of synthesizers. Remixing the likes of The Chainsmokers, Ember Island and Cash Cash to name a few, he is also no stranger to taking on big challenges.
His latest work is an attempt of putting his own sound on Avicii and Otto Knows collaborative track, “Back Where I Belong”. Putting a more energized progressive edge to it, there are also flickering elements of trance scattered throughout. Accumulating in an impressive display of his capabilities from the start to the end, his four minute remix is definitely worth your time.
