If you’ve been keeping an eye on the dance scene over the past year, you’ll know that “Innerbloom” from Australian band RÜFÜS has been one of the best releases of 2016. The original perfects a melodic, emotional and chilled out sound which also can work well on the dance floor too. Many DJs including Jeremy Olander, Steve Angello and Lane 8 have been championing the track in their mixes, and now the latter has taken to remix duties to put his own spin on the tune.

Lane 8’s remix of “Innerbloom” was first heard in his Fall 2016 mix and now the producer has surprised fans by dropping the full remix this week. Retaining a similar vibe to the original, this progressive masterpiece proves once again why Lane 8 has been one of the best producers in 2016 with a string of hugely impressive releases.

The remix opens with a lush chord progression as various snippets from the original acapella are littered throughout before a kick pattern soon thuds through the mix. The main melody used by Lane 8 here is ridiculously catchy and shows off his ability as a musician as well. The tune has a mainly uplifting progressive vibe and would definitely act as the perfect way to open or close a set.

You can stream the full remix below which will be released soon:
