Talking about those who have taken 2016 by a storm, it is tough to overlook the ‘sound from the clouds’ from Colorado based Trevor Christensen, or Said The Sky as he is better known. Having been the supporting act for Denver based Electronic Music stalwart Illenium‘s ‘Ashes’ tour, even Trevor would agree that his career has covered quite a stretch in 2016 itself. And it could not be more evident than it was in a recent Facebook post, where he told his story through the landmarks that he had set in the past 3 years of his career, finally reaching a collaboration with revered Producer Seven Lions & Illenium on their release ‘Rush Over Me‘.
And what a joy it must be to bag two releases within the same week with few of the biggest acts in the US industry. Well, only Trevor can answer that as he combines with 3LAU, for their upcoming potential chart-topper track titled ‘Fire’. Appropriately titled so, the track of course entailed huge amounts of expectations as for some it were their favorite acts combining forces to churn out a tasty tune. Packaged with a smashing melody that carries you softly in the humble abode of Said The Sky, the track’s real promise lies in the charming vocals from Christina O’Connor who more or less dictates the song through the mellow beats of this brilliant production.
Undoubtedly, they’re touted to do wonders on the charts but what elevates the track further beyond the charts is that the proceedings from the track will be heading towards Pencils of Promise, an organization working towards improving the state of Education around the world. You can do your part and donate to the organization here.
Fire is up for grabs tomorrow, so make sure you’re there in line!
