If you’re looking for the tune that has it all, Tom Staar‘s latest magnificent specimen is the jam for you. Arguably, 2016 has been one of the Brit heavyweight’s most successful years yet. As part of the Groove Cartel movement, Thomas Ingamells has now released his undeniably most anticipated single of 2016 titled “Me Sueno”, which simultaneously marks his ninth official production in the last eleven months.

A follow-up to a slew of tracks including “Disappear“ alongside NEW_ID, “The Funkatron“ alongside Robbie Rivera, or his remix of Armin van Buuren‘s “Dominator“, “Me Sueno” further solidifies Tom Staar as one of the few true masters of the new wave of house music. The producer dropped the single on his own and newly established Cartel Recordings imprint, which he formed alongside his partner in crime Kryder as the ultimate answer to the huge success of their Groove Cartel movement. Furthermore, the single gets its proper release right before the Groove Cartel label showcase in Space Miami next weekend.

Tom Staar’s latest production is as full and crisp as ever, showing a wide command of sound design and mixing from the delicate trumpet sounds to the delightful vocals and flourishes of the drop. Delivering one of his most outstandings tracks so far, “Me Sueno” proves that, when it comes to groove influenced music, Tom Staar is a force to be reckoned with at any time.

Mixing and mashing his own styles, he hits the nail right on the head with his powerful and energetic work on the drop with the attention grabbing melody, which sticks out of all, leaving the listener wanting for more of it. While calling no bests from the lot, this surely has to be one of the top tracks of the entire year.

Cutting ahead of his handful of accomplished singles to date, “Me Sueno” raises the bar for Tom’s polished sound to take centre stage come 2017, again.
