It is often all to easy to overlook some of the most influential tracks in artists career’s, especially those of Dirty South and Michael Brun. Two of the most reputed and respected acts on the electronic dance music scene today, their first formal collaboration together reaped great reward.

Following their first work together on Dirty South’s edit of “Rise”, their debut collaboration signified the start of an era. An era where Michael Brun established his presence firmly on the scene and Dirty South demonstrated his nurturing role-model capabilities.

Taking the young boy from the small island of Haiti, South’s imprint ‘Phazing’  provided a platform for Brun’s talents to be accessed, noticed and appreciated. Coming at a time where festivals were experiencing a booming domination of growth, Dirty South had just been enjoying Beatport No.1’s with Alesso and Ruben Haze for “City Of Dreams” as well as the release of now renowned work with Thomas Gold and Miike Snow.
