Premiere: BROHUG – Guerilla

Adding to the stellar output that has been coming out of the Spinnin’ Records camp recently is Stockholm based DJ and music production trio of BROHUG. The swedes, who have aptly taken it upon themselves to wage a war against the commercial aspects of Electronic Dance Music and return to “funk, the dirtyness, and the realness“, have gained quite a following among the audience and artists alike – gathering support from the likes of DJ Snake, Diplo, Tchami, Oliver Helens among others. And with the free release of their powerful and energetic EP titled ‘Marshall‘ on Spinnin’ recently paired with the reputation for quality developed over time with a release on Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep Records and multiple releases on Tchami’s Confessions label, the duo are out to showcase to the world that they mean business with their sound. And they now aim to return to Spinnin’ with their upcoming blockbuster of a release titled ‘Guerilla‘, premiered exclusively on We Rave You.

A better description of ‘Guerilla’ could not be given than in the trio’s own rebellious words:

“Guerilla is all about declaring war against the music today. Let’s make house music cool again.”

And yet, the real magic lies in how they infuse the curious beats and an upbeat synth-work to perfectly fit the phat bass line that is sure to get clubs rocking in no time. Being true to their words, the upcoming single is one that brings back the old and turns into fresh fodder for the listeners ears. A charming release in its own regard, it is easy to see from the sound that the duo pack behind the production desk as to why the likes of Oliver Heldens and Tchami are interested in giving the duo a wider platform to present their talent. Undoubtedly set for the top ranks on the charts, if you’re looking for a bass driven House track, there isn’t any need to look any further and any longer because BROHUG are a trio set to be dominant with their infectious sound if they can keep their rebellious attitude and energetic productions packed together for more music in the near future.
