Fans left enraged after Tiësto cancels his performance at Creamfields Peru

Home Uncategorized Fans left enraged after Tiësto cancels his performance at Creamfields Peru

Peru’s annual Creamfields music festival just took place and celebrated its 10th anniversary in its South American location. Although the line-up was packed and it was an overall success, headlining act, Tiësto cancelled last minute. This was due to no fault of his own and the dance music pioneer blamed the cancellation on “unsafe conditions”.

Apparently, a group of individuals attempted to get into the stage area by breaking in through the rear end of the venue. Creamfields’ security team were quick to tackle the misfits’ efforts but the situation escalated when the group decided to throw objects toward security and assumably, Tiësto.

Tiësto and his team decided to take the safer route by opting not to perform altogether, causing fans to be immensely disappointed. To save the day, Blasterjaxx were asked to assume Tiësto’s headlining role. Unforunately, fans weren’t having any of it as they proceeded to throw glass bottles amongst other objects towards the decks.

Below is the official statement provided by Creamfields’ staff.
