Premiere: Bare Noize and JuJu – Thump Therapy

The last time we spoke with UK’s Bare Noize, the duo were approaching the release of their widespread AFK collaboration, “Elemental”. Since then, the boys have added some serious gain to their repertoire with the announcement of original track, “Spirit”, and release of their self-developed record label, LA90. Needless to say, achieving all that success in such a short period has their recent team-up with Los Angeles tastemaker, JuJu, at the top of everyone’s list.

Available today off LA90 Records, the trio gift us with “Thump Therapy“; a track brimming with superior production dexterity, and individual flow easily recognized from both parties. With rooted sounds that stray from today’s commercial bass, the release tailors to a medley of sharp structural adjustments, and melodic backdrops balanced in detail.  From start to finish, the over 3-minute original introduces a slue of elevated synth work, grainy riffs, and a beat measure tangled in restless key changes. Brought in with riveting tempos and a drop bodied in definition, “Thump Therapy’s” continuous use of plunging bass lines and crisp snares, give this premiere a foundation best described as addictive.
