Avicii and Nicky Romero have been at the forefront of the electronic dance music momentum for sometime now. One of its most notable tracks from the first half of the decade being their collaborative studio production “I Could Be The One”.

The coming together of two of the genre’s biggest names had fans from around the world excited. With melodic Swedish finesse and electro Dutch power, the track was destined to be something popular. Featuring the vocals of Avicii’s fellow Swede Noonie Bao, the song was premiered as an instrumental at the Super Glow event in the Unites States in November 2011. Initially refereed to as ‘Nicktim’ as a fusion of the artists names, the formal title came with its release at the end of December a year later.

Formally a release of over seven minutes in duration, the radio edit went on to be Avicii’s first UK No.1 charting, the track now has platinum selling status in four countries around the globe. Its accompanying Official Music Video also proved popular, now sitting on over 200 million views on YouTube with its rather satire comedic reflection of society.
