KIIDA are one of the future assets of Afrojack‘s reputed WALL Recordings. A rising duo from Russia, they have already made their presence felt on the electronic music canvas and continuing their steady rise to the top.

Now residents at the infamous Dutch imprint, KIIDA have acquired an impressive feature portfolio given their small collection of quality studio production. With plays of their material on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s ‘Smash The House’, Laidback Luke’s Electric Daisy Carnival set, Hardwell’s weekly podcast and multiple features on Martin Garrix’ ‘The Martin Garrix Show’, it is fair to say they have attracted the attention of the electronic music industry’s elite.

Launching their two track EP, ‘Weapons‘, KIIDA have backed up their first releases in emphatic style. Providing an Afrojack edit of their track ‘Fork‘, and an original composition titled ‘Knife‘, which was premiered at Ultra Korea, it showcases their experience performing and even crowd-surfing. Complimenting their mentor Afrojack, they have clearly absorbed as much as they can from the living legend. The duo explains:

“Working with artists like Nick is always special as he pays attention to every single detail. You can tell that he definitely knows what he is doing which leads to creating a perfect track in the end. We are very happy with the results of our EP. ‘Knife’ is a similar track to our ‘Balangala’, with the same sound but a bit more ‘fun’. When we sent a 50 second demo of ‘Fork’ to Nick he liked it so much that we finished it together. ‘Fork’ was premiered by Nick in July in a livestream from the WALL studio.”

Set to be exclusive to the Beatport Big Room Chart, ‘Fork’ itself has already been supported by ‘The Martin Garrix Show’. Check out the ‘Weapons’ EP in full below and be sure to grab your copy today!
