With every year, there comes a slew of mixes that wrap up the previous year’s hit songs. Last year, Israeli producer group NEXU, consisted of Teamworx, Roc Dubloc and Hanan L-Alouf gifted fans with their own curation skills of 2015’s hottest tracks and now they have done it again for 2016. The Israeli rising stars are typically known for their energetic electro house, but in this mix, they flaunt their expertise of musical knowledge to provide a full picture of electronic music last year.

Some producers wouldn’t know where to start when attempting to mix the likes of The Chainsmokers, Skrillex, KSHMR, Martin Solveig, Hardwell, Alan Walker or Coldplay, and so many more. Yet, the guys from NEXU execute clean cut transitions between more than 160 tracks in just under 15 minutes. Their ability to appeal to big room house fans, underground hipsters and dubstep bass heads in the short amount of 12 minutes reaffirms their stance as rising stars of the scene. Their fiery 2016 mix jump-starts like a thrilling theme park ride, leaving listeners without even a second to prepare, build up and catch a breath before they dive into Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha‘s “In The Name Of Love” anthem of the year.

Furthermore, The NEXU Yearmix features a cross section of the tracks that made main stages quake in 2016, packaged up into countless mashups, originals and edits. From “Closer” to “Purple Lamborghini”, “Take My Breath Away” to “Lions In The Wild”, “Barricade” to “Starboy”, the mix provides a snapshot of the songs that made good on EDM’s “D” while also showcasing the Israeli’s own mixing and mashing skills. Start your day off right with a glimpse of last year through the eyes of NEXU.
