Back with his newest remix, Bedroom Beats creator Sean Turk has developed another sensually driven hit, equipped with strong production techniques and layered synth work. Taking on Phil Good’s “Sleeping In“, the close to 3-minute track highlights Sean’s maturity in the scene, and ability to fluctuate his sound with each song attempted.
Overall, “Sleeping In” has an undoubtedly fluffy undertone, with midtempo instrumentals and a groovy 110 BPM. From the top, it immediately incorporates Turk’s recognizable flavor, with a unique bass composition wrapped in the song’s original sultry vocals. While listening, it’s hard not to spot the heightened percussion advances and funky string work which all together, concrete this as a beautifully sculpted, progressive hit. Compared to the song’s original layers, Sean did a great job recreating Sleeping In’s structure by adding a future bass sound that easily sticks out amongst it competitors. If this is the direction his music is headed, 2017 will surely be a big year for this New York native.
