2016 was a remarkable year for one of the industry’s brightest young superstars Alan Walker. With the momentum currently in his hand, the Norwegian DJ and producer recently kicked off his 2017 campaign with two brand new remixes. First, he released his take on Sofia Carson‘s “Back to Beautiful” and secondly, he unveiled his own rendition of Charli XCX and Lil Yachty‘s “After the Afterparty“.

Prior to these remixes, Walker gained tremendous success for his brilliant progressive house tracks. Following his breakthrough single “Faded”, he topped the charts with his two hits “Sing Me to Sleep” and “Alone”. In addition, he also dropped a couple of remixes for Coldplay’s “Hymn for the Weekend” and Cash Cash and Digital Farm Animals’ “Millionaire”.

Back to his remixing duties, Walker fuses in his world-renowned signature sound to Sofia Carson’s pop record “Back to Beautiful”. The track features a flawless blend of Carson’s vocals and Walker’s astonishing melodies, as well as some well-designed vocals chops topped with a mind-blowing future bass sequence.

Walker also remixed Charlie XCX’s “After the Afterparty”, which provides a more uplifting vibe with its blissful synths and melodies. Especially with Charlie XCX’s striking vocals, this remix is an absolute treat to hear from beginning to end.
