Upcoming talent Ellis has given Ed Sheeran‘s new single – ‘Shape Of You‘ a completely different look, fusing Sheeran’s soulful vocals with a strong future house sound, similar to Mesto’s approach to the genre.

Shape Of You‘ was only released to the world last week (January 5th), as a new year gift to his fans and to start the year with a bang. It was released alongside ‘Castle on the Hill’, where both tracks will feature on Sheeran’s album ÷ (divide) which will be released later this year. ‘Shape Of You‘ has already amassed over a whopping 13,000,000 views on YouTube, proving how strong the Ed Sheeran fan base is.

This means that Ellis has had very little time to work on his twist to the Ed Sheeran track and has yet pulled off uploads from major future house YouTube channels such as Future House Music, which is a fantastic opportunity and stepping stone for those wanting to enter the scene. Ellis has only been producing for around a year and has already gained support from the likes of Oliver Heldens, Makj and Curbi

His remix of  ‘Shape Of You‘ will be one of the best future house chart remixes you’ll hear this year. Combining elegantly cut vocal chops to hard hitting future house bass lines, Ellis blends everything together seamlessly, making it a very enjoyable listen!
