With Friday’s anticipated release date around the corner, Deadmau5’s newest adventure Stuff I Used To Do is gaining serious marketing momentum since surprising fans with a 6 minute minimix this afternoon. Catered to the 20 song compilation we’ve been teased about from all social media outlets this past month, the masked man himself decided to ease some of the questions behind the release, and ensure fans it certainly is a mix of all walks during his multi- decade career.
Reported as a free download, the mau5trap release will be the follow-up to his 8th studio album, W:/2016ALBUM/. Included in the minimix release, are tracks ranging from piano medleys to big, hip-hop instrumentals. All of which, help solidify the impact his music has made on the culture and ever-growing talent pool. Busy at work with other developments, Deadmau5’s December preview of the Cube 2.1, as well as a new LED helmet are definitely helping push sales for his upcoming tour, launching this March.
