BBC Radio 1’s weekly residency series is slowly becoming one of the hottest and most celebrated mix shows in the electronic music scene right night. Over the past number of years they’ve hosted some of the world finest producers and DJs to put out a mix once a month every Thursday with current names on the bill including Kolsch and deadmau5. Now it’s time for Bristol DJ/producer Eats Everything to step up to the residency decks.

Eats has consistently proven himself to be one of the top DJs to come out of the UK in recent memory headlining shows at the likes of Warehouse Project and fabric amongst others. His productions have caught the ears of many ravers and are always excellent. Speaking about the residency, the big man had this to say: “I’m pretty speechless that I have been asked to host my own show on Radio 1. It’s fairly surreal and a bit of a shock. I promise to try and bring good music, some pretty questionable humour and a silly accent to the airwaves.”

His first spot on the show was last week, and he’ll next be appearing February 23rd. You can catch the first instalment in his residency below:
