Fresh from his sell-out UK Tour, masked mogul Marshmello is back, this time teaming up with Ookay, to bring us latest single “Chasing Colors” featuring the unmistakable vocals of Noah Cyrus. It is not the first time these acts have collaborated with Marshmello recently remixing Cyrus’ single “Make Me Cry.”
Now, the “Keep it Mello” DJ teams up with fellow American Ookay, the man behind one of 2016’s biggest tracks in the form of “Thief.” The result, as you would expect from these two, is a fresh upbeat melody that is only pierced by a bass-heavy drop with a production similar to the melody used in Marshmello’s hit single “Summer.”
Having made its debut on the festival circuit this past summer as an unreleased ID, “Chasing Colors” is a a track you are likely to hear much more frequently during 2017, and given how everything these two touch right now is transformed into an instant success, this release is likely to be used in several sets as the summer festival season approaches once more.
The brightly animated lyric video is available now via Marshmello’s official YouTube channel, and the track is also available now via Spotify and Apple Music.
