The upcoming Movement Music Festival in Detroit, Michigan has just announced a surprising headliner for its second day. The event’s organizers unveiled that an artist named testpilot, who turns out to be Canadian superstar deadmau5’s alter ego, is set to share the main stage with some of techno music’s biggest names such as Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox.

Deadmau5 has lately been incorporating techno music during his live performances, which may have contributed to his decision to return on stage as testpilot. The only other event in which deadmau5 used his other alias was during the SXSW Festival in 2013.

Movement Music Festival revealed the inclusion of testpilot during the announcement of its Phase 2 lineup. Other acts who are set to perform include the likes of Seth Troxler, Juicy J, Honey Dijon, Octave One, and Cajmere.

Previously, the event also revealed some of the scene’s most prominent names such as Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, The Belleview Three, Robert Hood, and Josh Wink to perform.

Movement Music Festival will take place on Memorial Day Weekend on May 27-29 at the Hart Plaza. Tickets and information are available here and check out the festival’s full lineup below.
