Sometimes you hear a track, and instantly know that the release is destined for global success. When it happens, it’s a moment of beauty, and it’s happened here as Pegboard Nerds and Tony Junior combine strengths for their epic banger Voodoo. A collaboration that is destined to make crowds go out of their minds for sure, the always dynamic Pegboard Nerds are known for bringing big sounds that are out of this world.

Danish/Norwegian electronic duo Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg, AKA Pegboard Nerds, got their name from an anagram of the pair’s surnames, Odden and Parsberg. Having recently announced their Revenge of the Nerds tour across 26 cities across the United States, the duo are tipped by many for a huge 2017. Tickets for the show can be purchased here.

There is no better choice than to collaborate with the king of mayhem, Tony Junior, on this monster release on Spinnin’ Records.   Junior, the young Dutchman who has been likened to Dutch legend Tiësto in terms of musical style actually released a collaboration with the man himself, called “Get Down“, back in 2015.

The result of this pairing is a vibrant bundle of pure energy, Voodoo is an attack of the senses, with strong kicks to get your thumping your limbs around and your heart rate pumping. And as your feel your beats per minute lining up with the track’s BPM, the melodic clings combine with energetic vocal samples to really get the party started. Throw in a beefy bassline from Junior, and we’re looking at a real crowd pleaser here, with the final result a spicy toe-tapper that has an almost Fox Stevenson-esque feel to it.

Voodoo is out now and is already looking like one of the biggest releases of the year so far. This track will no doubt be heard throughout clubs and festivals worldwide this summer, so check it out now:
