SHDW & Obscure Shape are slowly gaining a lot of traction in the techno world. The two Germans are becoming known for their hard-hitting, earth-shattering, pummelling melodic techno sound. Having releases heavily supported by the likes of Rødhåd is a testament to their ever enduring quality, and they’re moulding their own brand of pounding techno, characterised by deep, brooding synth lines with a distinct emotional edge.

Their From Another Mind label has seen them put out a number of excellent EPs from the past few years, and now a new remix package is coming out soon with remixes from the likes of the aforementioned Rødhåd, Tale of Us and Mind Against. The latter two joined forces to remix the spine-tingling Die Weiße Rose.

This warehouse-ready anthem sets apart no time for messing around as a powerful kick drum pounds throughout the opening. Luring synths slowly evolve over the introduction before a quick breakdown allows some tension to build. The arpeggiated synth pluck which acts as the main ‘hook’ of the track comes in around the mid-way point taking the track to the next level. A track which exemplifies the kind of emotional and pumping energy the remixers and the original producers are known for. Expect this beast to absolute dominate clubs and warehouses over the next few months. The full remix EP drops next week, February 23rd.
