Seemingly one of the most significant artists in electronic music since his Clarity debut back in 2012, Grammy winner Zedd has used his multi-instrumental talents to pave the way for today’s most promising stars. Drawing inspiration from progressive, dubstep, and even classical music, the now 27 year old continues to release award worthy music with the winning of the Billboard Music Awards top Electronic album for True Colors at 2016’s ceremony. With continuous success and a year of ample opportunity, Zedd has officially announced the release of his newest single with Canadian superstar, Alessia Cara.
Best know for her work “Wild Thing”, “Scars to Your Beautiful” and “Here”, the 20 year old took on SNL and The Tonight Show this past weekend to showcase her skills. With her silky voice and lyrics to match, the match is that of musical heaven. Available for preview on Alessia’s Twitter account, fans are exposed to what seems like the beginning of a stirring tune, equipped with high energy and lyrical undertones. Entitled “Stay”, the collab is destined for commercial success and obvious festival play this upcoming season. With a release date marked February 24th, the song marks an awesome beginning to 2017 for both artists.
