Techno titan Adam Beyer has consistently been one of the most popular and impressive DJ’s/producers in the world. Rising through the Swedish techno scene in the late 90’s and early 00’s and known for his love of loopy, melodic techno, the maestro is the king of long sets and dreamy tracks that explore a wide range of emotions.
Releasing of course on his own label Drumcode, ‘Capsule’ sees Beyer team up with the ever popular duo Pig&Dan for this dance floor ready weapon. Beyer has been a frequent collaborator over the past year and is continuing this trend with another team effort on this latest release. If you’ve seen a Beyer set over the past year or listened to one of the many Drumcode radio podcasts floating around there’s a good chance you’ve heard some slightly different iterations of this record, with Beyer confirming that there was “around 15 different versions.”
Hammering drums, infectious synth stabs and a catchy hook make this a real peak-time weapon. Fans of the more-accessible “Drumcode sound” will find this track is right up their street. A track that’s built for the big warehouses and festivals, this truly is a massive techno effort.
