Following a mammoth year in 2016, culminating in a widely-acclaimed show at the Heineken Music Hall during ADE, Swedish duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso seem to be heading in a slightly different direction for 2017. Having reunited with former manager Amy Thomson towards the tail-end of the year, the pair have undergone a slight rebranding on their logo, have started merchandise giveaways to fans, and have now taken to their social media channels to premiere the video for latest track “I Love You”.

Revealing the video via Facebook live at 7pm GMT, the duo had previously teased fans with a live clock countdown to the event, 24 hours prior to the release. The track itself, which was released in February, sees the electronic giants take on a slightly different vibe, with a more R&B based feel about the production thanks to the vocals of hip hop star Kid Ink. The steamy video, directed by Colin Tilley, features typically theatrical scenes, packed with fast cars and passionate lovers enduring emotional moments.

March marks yet another huge month for both Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, with the pair performing at their own New York show on 18th March at Brooklyn’s Depot 52, before headlining Ultra Music Festival in Miami the following weekend.  And despite remarks from Thomson, who also managed the pair during their Swedish House Mafia days, on Twitter last week claiming that their “Years ID” would not be released, there is still much new music for fans to look out for. Their next single is believed to be the melodic melancholy hit “Dreamer.”
