Assured to bring you quality music above all, ever since Deadmau5 agreed to chalk up 2-hour mixes for BBC Radio 1 it has been a journey to savor. Bringing back hits and premiering the ones to come in equal measures, Joel’s consistency in delivering eclectic mixes has more or less established that the ‘home to the greatest DJs’ has a space for yet another stellar personality. And after announcing the concept of his Cube 2.1 and the tour that will feature it, it only seems fitting that he returns to his monthly duties behind the deck for BBC Radio 1 residency. And if February’s mix featuring the likes of  Oneohtrix Point Never and Olivier Giacomotto was any hint, March’s mix had more surprises in store.

Kicking things off with No Mana‘s upcoming single ‘Constellations’ featuring Winnie Ford, Deadmau5 assures to put his own at the helm of his mix showcasing another to-be-released Mau5trap record. A quick remix from Aquiver and another one of Giacomotto‘s singles, the flow of the mix is satiating as the two are followed by singles from the likes of Undercatt, Regal, Harvey McKay & Mark Reeve, Slam, Matt Lange, Quivver, Robert Oaks and Rrose. Joining them is music from Oliver Winters, Todd Terje, Shiba San and Mau5trap’s arguably favorite artist ATTLAS. The mix closes with tracks from Eelke Kleijn and The Black Madonna stamping out in style with the latter’s ‘He Is The Voice I Hear’.
