Alongside the announcement of his upcoming ‘lots of shows in a row’ tour, deadmau5 revealed that he is bringing back his signature Cube stage. Recently, the Canadian superstar has been uploading videos online that takes the audience behind the scenes of the creation of Cube 2.1. On March 10, deadmau5 unveiled the third video of the ‘mau5trap presents: deadmau5 x TAIT (Cube 2.1)’ series.

The video describes the process behind the pixel mapping of the stage that consists of 16 automation boxes in charge of graphics and movement. The brand new design, lighting, and animations on the Cube are also featured, which showcases the advancement of this particular stage compared to his past ones.

For the development of Cube 2.1, deadmau5 teamed up with TAIT and Adam Davis, who is the chief creative officer of the design company, referred to the stage as the “world’s most transformative DJ stand”. Considering the sophisticated technology that was involved with the making of Cube 2.1, it should not come as a surprise that this stage is one of the best the world has ever seen.

Deadmau5 fans can experience the stage themselves by attending the ‘lots of shows in a row’ tour that will begin on March 29 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
