Glitterbox announce huge weekly takeover of HÏ Ibiza for upcoming 2017 season

This summer sees an exciting new chapter in Ibiza history set to launch with brand new Superclub, HÏ Ibiza, opening its doors on the site of legendary former club, Space. The venue, owned by Ushuaïa Entertainment, has already set about building an exciting weekly line-up, with Martin Garrix and Black Coffee already signed up to residencies for the upcoming season.

Now, HÏ Ibiza looks set to take things to a different level with the huge announcement that they will play home to one of Ibiza’s most loved and popular events; Glitterbox. One of the world’s most flamboyant, hedonistic parties, Glitterbox is a throwback to the glory days of Disco and House, with the club experience enhanced by dancers, open-minded performers, and passionate, sexual undertones.

Glitterbox will take over Fridays at HÏ Ibiza, every week from 9th June to 29th September, following its hugely successful residency at Space in 2016, with standout performances from the likes of Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry, Dimitri From Paris, Horse Meat Disco and many more.

This announcement promises to be huge news for the white isle, and it’s a sentiment echoed by Glitterbox DJ Simon Dunmore, who added:

“We chose HÏ for Glitterbox’s Ibiza residency because it is an incredible proposition. It’s the new hot spot on the island. The people involved totally believe in the Glitterbox concept, which is still unique to the island. Every Friday you can expect an event with an extrovert personality – an extravaganza!
