Legendary Dutch DJ Sander Van Doorn reveals Purple Haze alter ego

Having carved a name for himself as one of the defining artists of his generation, Sander van Doorn is now laying the foundations for the official launch of his alter ego, Purple Haze. An alias that was discussed in his exclusive interview with We Rave You earlier this month, the Dutch star was quick to reassure fans this is not the end of the Sander van Doorn they have all come to know and love.

Purple Haze marks the start of a completely separate, exciting, new endeavor for the star. Demonstrating his versatility as an artist, through this moniker, Sander will explore a sharper, darker and rougher side to his production capabilities, with the first Purple Haze track ‘Neiloj’ premiered during ASOT episode 804 and set for release May 15th on Doorn Records.

Avid fans of the legendary producer will have already noticed recent announcements across socials alluding to this new phase – or P.Haze – in Sander’s already illustrious career. As Purple Haze begins to take root, chaos ensued over the weekend with the unexpected blackout of Sander’s official social channels, further symbolizing the two identities as they fight to co-exist inside Sander’s mind. With Sander’s official pages now restored and the first two shows celebrating this new ego, aptly named P.Haze 1 & 2, having taken place last week in Sydney and Melbourne to rapturous response, all eyes and ears are now firmly trained on the Purple Haze channels.
