The duo of KANU consists of two of the dance music scene’s brightest upcoming talents. Recently, these producers released a brand new remix of Italian Lexa Hill’s record called “Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose”, featuring Kriis.

KANU first caught the audience’s attention with the release of their original single titled “Driver”. To release this track, they signed with Kryder’s London-based record label Sosumi Records. Having joined the imprint’s star-studded roster, KANU kicked off their career in remarkable fashion and have set themselves up for inevitable success.

Following their debut track, KANU also dropped their production called “R3J (Ame+J3)”, which has received nothing but heavy support from fans all across the globe. With the momentum right by their side, KANU displays their impressive sounds to the world once again with the release of their latest remix of Lexa Hill’s “Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose”.

The track consists of a funky guitar sequence that blends smoothly with the underlying melody and the powerful vocals. Following the buildup, the up-tempo and groovy drop enters and delivers an insurmountable amount of energy from beginning to end. Overall, this remix presents a brilliant mix of old-school funk elements and modern underground sounds that would be suitable for any club or festival environment.

The remix is now available for download on Beatport here.
