Currently one of the American scene’s emerging artists, benAM has added another impressive record under his portfolio. The Los Angeles native recently showcased his talents, this time, with a groovy new remix of Sgt Slick‘s track titled “Everyday“.
Inspired by some of dance music’s legends such as Eric Prydz, deadmau5, and Steve Angello, benAM has successfully developed his production skills and his releases can certainly prove that. From his debut single called “Glide” to his recent original track titled “Rover”, his music has been nothing short of outstanding and as a result, he has become one of the industry’s fastest-rising talents.
BenAM has also gained recognition for his signature progressive house sounds and he applied these elements to his latest take on Sgt Slick’s “Everyday”. Describing his thoughts about his remix, benAM stated:
“The 2010 Digital Lab Remix of this record was a classic house hit, and was huge in developing my passion for real house music. I always loved the vocal of this record and it seemed like a perfect time to give it my own spin. My version is groovy, funky, and fun, and I think it does a good job of bringing back an old classic house track in a new and refreshing way. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!”
The track features a gorgeous chord progression that blends impeccably with the melodic breakdowns. Topped with the mesmerizing vocals, this remix possesses a series of sequences that are simply astonishing to hear. Especially when the groovy climax ensues, benAM’s rendition of “Everyday” fits any rave atmosphere, making it a perfect tune to play during this upcoming festival season.
