It’s safe to say 2016 was one of the biggest years for electronic music, period. With that, there were some artists who obviously stood out against their counterparts. The Redlight Management gang has been at the top of the industry since 2016, and now with the most recent sign of Julian Scanlan, better known by his stage name Slushii, they seem to only be getting bigger. Alongside the frozen treat are other acts Jauz, Ghastly, OOKAY, Borgeous, and the infamous Marshmello (just to name a few). Often do the members team up, and as of yesterday, Slushii and Marshmello have blessed us with their most recent collaboration, ‘Twinbow’.
Based upon the release’s cover art, the tune sticks to their pop-synth techniques, and overflowing amount of production flare. Standing as a bass tune to say the least, ‘Twinbow’ basically sends its viewers to a shiny world full of technicolored electro flavor. For close to 2 minutes, listens are immersed in the musical minds of both artists, and with over 100k plays in less than 24 hours, I’m sure ‘Twinbow’ will see the light of festival stages worldwide this coming season.
Take a listen to Slushii and Marshmello’s newest tune ‘Twinbow’ below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
