Steve Aoki talks new “unexpected” collaboration with The Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui

Recently, Steve Aoki sat down for an interview to discuss his recent collaboration with Louis Tomlinson from One Direction, “Just Hold On,” and his exciting new track with Lauren Jauregui from The Fifth Harmony. The DJ started off the interview talking about his track with Louis Tomlinson:

“I think the unexpected collaboration was pretty exciting for a lot of people…When we’re two guys in the studio trying to finish music, you forget about the past and what was happening… you’re like, let’s just work on what’s really important.”

Steve Aoki  then moved on to talk about his track with Lauren, however he did not give away too much details besides ensuring that it will be something “unexpected.” Steve Aoki  claimed:

“We’re definitely working on stuff in the studio and I want to nail it… She’s one of my favorite singers, so for me it’s really exciting to work with her because I really love her ideas and we’re on the same page about so many different things that it’s going to be an exciting record that we do together…. Expect the unexpected.”
