The Chainsmokers are set to release their highly anticipated debut album ‘Memories… Do Not Open’ on April 7. The album comes after a long string of no.1 hits and radio favorites such as ‘Roses’, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, ‘Closer’, ‘Paris’ and most recently, their collaboration called ‘Something Just Like This’ with 6-time Grammy Award winning British rock band Coldplay. Astonishingly, all the above-mentioned tracks have gone Platinum at least once, with “Don’t Let Me Down” taking the cake, going 7x Platinum in Canada. Given their insane success, it’s only fitting that The Chainsmokers finally release an album. “Memories… Do Not Open” will feature 12 tracks, including their most recent hits “Paris” and “Something Just Like This”.

After posting a preview of their stage on Facebook, fans have been going crazy with excitement! The stage will be filled with live instruments, including a drum kit for Australian drummer Matt McGuire and keyboards and drum pads for Alex and Andrew. Many guest vocalists will be joining them on tour too. Aiming to perform (in the traditional sense of the word) for their audiences, rather than simply pushing play on the decks, The Chainsmokers follow Porter Robinson and Madeon‘s ideology in providing a more ‘real experience for fans.
