Galantis brought their booming dance pop to the desert at this year’s Coachella Festival in California last weekend. Delivering a comprehensive set of their high energy tracks for their fans —dubbed the ‘Sea Fox Nation‘ after their enigmatic mascot creature — Galantis played not only the bulk of their 2015 album Pharmacy, but also their blockbuster hit singles, and remixes.

Clearly a duo intent on pleasing fans, the pair showcased their best and most beloved work, with mega-hit “Runaway (You &I)” featuring multiple times on the setlist, including a spectacular blend of the Quintino remix and Duke Dumont‘s orchestral dub track “Prelude.”

Other highlights included their smash hit “No Money” and a remix of Whitney Houston‘s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Fans also got to hear fan favourites such as the nostalgic “Firebird” and the ethereal “Gold Dust.”

Their big room sound combines energetic, rippling, layered basslines and distorted, cascading vocals— coupled with their undeniably enthusiastic stage presence, Galantis’ sets are always high on the fun quota. Waving Sea Fox flags and banners, jumping high up from the deck, running on stage, they prides themselves on interacting with the audience, delivering the best performance experience they can. A duo of Swedish producers, Galantis is compromised of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, who is the genius behind Icona Pop‘s breakout hit “I Love It.”
