HOOX x Spinrox feat. MayK – King of the World

HOOX and Spinrox may not be names that many dance music fans will recognise just yet, but expect to hear a lot more about two of Tel Aviv’s fastest rising stars in the foreseeable future. They recently hit the studio together to bring us their latest release “King of the World” featuring American vocalist MayK, and the track has already reached the Top 10 of Beatport’s Big Room Chart since its release on Hotune Records.

Made up of Dor Dekel & Guy Kachlon, HOOX have been gathering attention from some of the industry’s biggest names since the pair began the project one year ago. Dekel, the mastermind behind the project, is already a very established and respected DJ in the Israeli music scene, hosting the biggest national electronic radio show “Line Out With Dor Dekel” on 100Fm. Their string of recent releases have been supported by the likes of W&W, KSHMR, and even Fedde Le Grande on the Ultra Miami Mainstage. And having opened for names such as Tiesto and Oliver Heldens, the duo are showing no signs of slowing down.

Whilst similarly, Spinrox has been making a name for himself ever since his massive collaboration with Jetfire, “Revelation”, was signed to Spinnin’ sublabel Oxygen, before following this success up with a solo track on Bonzering Records. “King of the World” is another monster hit to add to the growing repertoire of this talented producer. Fuelled with energy, emotion and intensity, the track is guaranteed to set dancefloors alight.

The perfect combination of acoustic elements and sizzling synths, the infectious vocals compliment the progressive elements of the break nicely before leading us into the enormous drop, consisting of a driving bassline, massive supersaws, and a kick that packs a serious punch. The early success of the track has us hoping for a follow up already.
