Martin Garrix previews collaboration with Troye Sivan at Coachella
Among many of the performers at this year’s Coachella, Martin Garrix played an array of unreleased tracks during his memorable live set. Whether it is a production under his name or his alter ego AREA21, the Dutch superstar surprised the crowd with his incredible ID’s.
Arguably the biggest moment of Garrix’s performance was when he brought out Australian vocalist Troye Sivan. Together, both Garrix and Sivan debuted their new collaboration that is unofficially titled as “There For You”.
Throughout his career, Garrix has joined forces with some of the industry’s most prominent artists, from Usher to Bebe Rexha. The 20-year-old producer has also teamed up with English singer Dua Lipa for the 2017 hit “Scared to be Lonely”.
Garrix is now set to drop another major collaboration and this time, he takes Sivan’s vocals to combine with his signature electronic sounds. The track features a minimal melodic breakdown and chord progression that blend nicely alongside Sivan’s distinctive vocals. In addition, it also taps into the future bass genre based on the drop, proving Garrix’s departure from his usual big room elements.
The official title and release date for the track are yet to be announced. Although, you can check out some fan-recorded videos of the track’s debut at Coachella below.
