Gifted German music producer Zedd recently released a collaboration earlier this year with Canadian superstar vocalist Alessia Cara, entitled ‘Stay‘. The track itself was a funky future bass track glittered with Alessia Cara’s stunning vocals, making a good match between Zedd’s production and Alessia’s vocal ability. The lyric video for the song has already gained over 90 million views on YouTube and is rapidly approaching the 100 million views mark. As it was such a success, the pair have unanimously decided to release a music video for ‘Stay‘ and released it a few days ago on 18th April.

The video was directed by Tim Mattia who has directed music videos for hugely successful bands and artists such as Biffy Clyro, The 1975 and Tinie Tempah. The video shows Zedd encountering two different scenarios when running towards an elevator that had Alessia Cara in. It shows what happens when he doesn’t make it and when he does. In the scenario when it does, there is a huge spark between the pair as they head out to a variety of luxurious places, demonstrating that the idea that you can meet new friends or lovers at any given moment.

Zedd said the following about the video:

“I’m so excited to share the Stay music video with you! Alessia and I worked so hard on it and hope you love it as much as we do!”
