The Chainsmokers’ string of hit releases has been nothing short of magnificent, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that they’ve absolutely dominated the 2017 Billboard Music Awards by snagging a staggering 22 nominations – which ties them with Canadian Rapper/Songwriter Drake, for the most nominations.

After being nominated for the following categories, The Chainsmokers might need to bring a wheelbarrow to carry all their awards home. The nominations include: ‘Top Artist,’ ‘Top Duo/Group,’ ‘Billboard Chart Achievement,’ ‘Top Hot 100 Artist,’ Top Hot 100 Song (x2),’ ‘Top Song Sales Artist,’ ‘Top Radio Sales Artist,’ ‘Top Selling Song,’ ‘Top Radio Song (x2),’ ‘Top Collaboration (x2),’ ‘Top Streaming Artist,’ ‘Top Streaming Song (Audio),’ ‘Top Streaming Song (Video),’ ‘Top Dance/Electronic Song (x2),’ ‘Top Dance/Electronic Artist,’ and finally ‘Top Dance/Electronic Album (x2)’.

The duo’s newest album ‘Memories… Do Not Open‘ which debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, features songs such as ‘Paris‘ and ‘Something Just Like This‘ with Chris Martin, who has won 5 Billboard Awards with British rock band Coldplay. The album’s Japanese bonus edition which includes the duo’s biggest tracks; ‘Closer‘, ‘Don’t Let Me Down‘ and ‘Roses‘ all of which went 10x, 7x, and 4x platinum respectively, have each been nominated under various categories at this year’s Billboard Awards.
