English-based producer Jonathan Gooch, better known as Feed Me, has just released the title track for his upcoming EP on mau5trap entitled ‘Existential Crisis.’ The release marks a triumphant return to deadmau5’s label following a near four-year hiatus and is set to be released this Friday, May 19th. The song was premiered on the BBC Radio 1 show from deadmau5 and has become highly anticipated by fans since its announcement.

The track itself finds a perfect fit on the label as its heavy electronic sounds fill your speakers for just over five minutes of pure enjoyment. It follows a more disco-vibe beat and features an extensive array of arrangements that boast some dazzling synths that exhibit a resemblance to Daft Punk. While electro house has definitely seen a dramatic progression over the past decade, ‘Existential Crisis’ brings the genre back to its pinnacle. Gooch proves that he is more than able to maintain an extremely unique and talented sound that has made him a part of the dance music scene for the past decade. If the title track is any indication on how the rest of the EP will sound, an existential crisis is one thing that the project will not suffer from.

Listen to the song below and check back Friday when the EP is fully released.
