The master of house, Kölsch, is back with another ethereal journey through the underground on his monthly residence on BBC Radio One‘s Residency. As usual, the two hour long mix include’s some of his favorite records at the moment, as well as some brand new music hand-selected for a world premiere.
The techno journey kicks off with the Yost movement mix of ‘Let Myself Go’ by Just Her, and continues with tracks from dubSPEEKA, Maurizio, Dave DK, and others. A brand new track from Kölsch himself pops up within the first hour, a collaboration with Gregor Schwellenbach called ‘Serji’.
The second half of the mix induces some welcomed nostalgia, as Trentemøller‘s legendary remix of ‘Les Djinns’, makes a golden appearance, followed by gems from 16 Bit Lolitas, Tim Engelhardt, and Victor Ruiz.
Finally, the epic journey comes to a close with a private remix from Kölsch himself, of Radiohead‘s ‘Reckoner’. Much to the disappointment of many fans, the remix won’t be coming out anytime, but it’s still available for listening pleasure.
