Alesso dominates EDC Las Vegas main stage this year

Home Uncategorized Alesso dominates EDC Las Vegas main stage this year

As another edition of EDC Las Vegas comes to a close following an absolutely insane weekend, we are able to listen to countless of live sets that were recorded and streamed during the event. One of the standout performances of the weekend came from Swedish progressive house legend Alesso, who showcased some of his best tracks, and mash-ups.

While most festivals only give artists about an hour of stage time, EDC Las Vegas sets the bar even higher by giving many DJs around 90 minutes. During Alesso’s near 80-minute performance, he included his most iconic singles and remixes such Years with Matthew Koma and his recently released Something Just Like This remix for The Chainsmokers. Some of his classic mashups that have become a staple in his live sets included Dark River vs. Sweet Escape, Dream Bigger vs. Heroes and I Wanna Know vs. Let Me Love You, which he closed with at Ultra Music Festival in March.

The only downside of the performancewas his lack of IDs according to the tracklist on the fan-based website 1001 Tracklists. This has to be somewhat disappointing for fans who were hoping to hear some new music from Alesso as his recent single Falling is now over 4 months old. Hopefully the Swedish maestro is currently working on some new material that we will get to hear before the summer season ends.
