Andrew Rayel and Max Vangeli‘s new collaboration ‘Heavy Love‘ is out now on Armind, an imprint of Armada Music. The sensational new single is a work of true beauty, a synthesis of mainstage festival EDM-pop and trance music.

Soaring, falsetto vocals dazzle over a triumphant brass band underscored by commanding synths. Former X Factor contestant Kye Sones‘ voice is magnificent, adding an emotional dimension to the lyrical theme of carrying another person through the travails of a relationship. Released as a single from Rayel’s second album Moments, ‘Heavy Love‘ is truly magnificent and the creative use of horns deserves praise.

Both Rayel and Vangeli credit the song’s powerful appeal to their shared nationality and the enthusiastic response of fans worldwide. Vangeli said of the track:

We’re both from Moldova and there’s something special about two people with similar roots collaborating on music that’ll be heard around the world.

Rayel is a classically-trained musician who is as comfortable with Mozart as he is with EDM, hence the baroque redolence of the track. Trance legend Armin van Buuren one dubbed him “the future of trance music”, a truly important endorsement. Vangeli is sought out as a remixer by a host of famous DJs, and releases his own music too.
