British DJ and producer Cristoph has returned with an astounding tech house track called “Feel”. The track, which has only surfaced recently, was premiered during Eric Prydz‘s Beats1 radio residency.
With “Feel” yet to be officially released, Eric Prydz made the following statement on his Facebook in late May:
Really pleased to announce Cristoph is now on board with Pryda…
I am starting a new imprint called ‘Pryda Presents’, the first release is “Feel” premiered on EPIC Radio last week.
Second release planned for Pryda Presents is Tonja Holma…
Cristoph, who has dabbled in many other genres, has charted on Beatport’s Progressive House, Deep House, Tech House and Electronica/Downtempo charts, as well as the overall Top 100 chart. He is yet to acclaim a #1 spot; however, tracks such as ‘Last Dance‘ (Progressive House Chart #3), ‘Dimensions‘ (#8 Progressive House chart) and ‘Alone‘ (#4 Deep House chart) have all peaked highly, and have done exceptionally well.
“Feel” possesses a dark, techy vibe, and makes excellent use of percussion sounds such as the tambourine, cymbals and shakers. A lovely reverb-soaked vocal fits well in the track and avoids clashes with the percussive instruments. The drop’s synths correspond well with the hard kick & bass and creates an epic vibe on the dancefloor!
